In Côte d’Ivoire, pump prices remain stable but the industry pays more

The scale valid from November 1 to 30 does not change the prices paid by motorists and households but raises those of DDO, fuel oil, and industrial butane in Abidjan.

Pump prices and those of domestic gas remain unchanged in Côte d’Ivoire from November 1 to 30, 2026, while the new scale published by the Ministry of Mines, Petroleum, and Energy increases several fuels intended for businesses in the Abidjan district.

The price per litre of unleaded petrol remains fixed at 905 FCFA, diesel at 725 FCFA, and kerosene at 780 FCFA across the entire territory. These amounts, already applied in October, directly affect motorists, transporters, and households using kerosene.

The prices of butane gas bottles intended for households also remain unchanged. The 6-kilogram bottle stays at 2,000 FCFA, the 12.5-kilogram bottle at 5,200 FCFA, and the 15-kilogram bottle at 6,965 FCFA. The 17.5-kilogram, 25-kilogram, and 28-kilogram sizes are maintained respectively at 8,125 FCFA, 11,610 FCFA, and 13,000 FCFA.

The movement is different for several industrial products sold in the Abidjan district. The DDO rises from 1,051 to 1,104 FCFA per kilogram, and its exempted version increases from 977 to 1,030 FCFA, representing a rise of 53 FCFA in both cases.

Fuel oil 180, for its part, rises from 546 to 600 FCFA per kilogram. Industrial bulk butane and cylinders over 28 kilograms increase from 659.523 to 896.047 FCFA per kilogram, representing an increase of nearly 36 percent.

The stability of retail prices extends the October scale following the increase applied in August. At that time, super gasoline rose from 875 to 905 FCFA per litre, diesel from 700 to 725 FCFA, and kerosene from 745 to 780 FCFA.

The new scale must be displayed at points of sale and remains valid until November 30. Petroleum product prices are revised monthly by the authorities according to the national pricing mechanism.
