According to Charles Blé Goudé, his party is notably in talks with the Movement of Capable Generations (MGC) and the Alliance for Republic and Democracy (AIRD). The parties involved aim to consolidate their proposals into a document that will then be submitted to the government.
The leader of COJEP indicated that the discussions focus in particular on the nature, composition, and guarantees of independence of the future body. These are positions expressed by his group within the framework of ongoing consultations, and not decisions already made by the government.
The Ministry of the Interior is simultaneously continuing its meetings with various groups and stakeholders. The proposals gathered are intended to inform the reflection on the structure of the future electoral system.
