Ivorian singer Roseline Layo announced on Thursday, October 15, 2026, in Abidjan the release of her album “Divas” scheduled for November 27, according to the report published by Abidjan.net. Presented at the Majestic cinema of the Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire, the project features eleven tracks and brings together eight guest artists.

Angélique Kidjo and Oumou Sangaré are among the announced collaborations, alongside Aïcha Koné, Reine Pélagie, Fatoumata Diawara, Djélikaba Bintou, Mia Guissé, and Kany. The album thus brings together several generations of female singers around Roseline Layo.

The album presentation highlights songs in French and several African languages, including Yacouba, Gouro, Bété, Bambara, Malinké, and Wolof. The announced themes notably focus on motherhood, sisterhood, and the role of women in society, as well as violence against women.

Two tracks included in the album’s program have already been released separately. “DEN’BA,” performed with Fatoumata Diawara, was released on September 18, followed by “DIA,” available since October 15. The latter track is presented under Roseline Layo’s name alone, with DaFé and Tamsir credited for composition and production.
