Ivorian candidates for the 2027 Hajj declared fit after their medical consultation can pay the pilgrimage fees starting Monday, October 12, at the designated Public Treasury counters, while fingerprinting has been postponed due to technical constraints announced by the Hajj Commission.

Authorized persons are therefore not required to present themselves immediately at a biometric enrollment center. After payment, their passport must be temporarily retained pending scheduling, and then an appointment must be communicated to them by phone when the fingerprint system is operational again.

The payment concerns candidates who have completed the medical examination and obtained their authorization. Counters have been announced in several treasury offices in Abidjan, notably in Abobo, Plateau, Koumassi, Treichville, and Yopougon, as well as in Yamoussoukro and the main regional centers.

The cost of the state quota remains set at 3.25 million FCFA for the 2027 edition, according to the Ministry of the Interior and Security. This amount must be paid to the Public Treasury before the final validation of the registration by the agents responsible for the pilgrimage.

The initial schedule published at the beginning of October provided for both the opening of payments and the start of fingerprinting on October 12. The postponement does not, at this stage, alter the financial phase of the operation. Pre-pilgrimage medical consultations began on October 8 and remain a prerequisite for payment authorization.

The online identification of the concerned contingent was closed after reaching the set number of files for this stage. Candidates already registered must follow the instructions in their pilgrim space and official communications before any travel related to biometrics.

The Hadj portal then presents a training phase for pilgrims whose registration has been validated. The date for resuming fingerprinting was not specified in the information available on Monday morning.
