The Carrefour Rosny 2 store, in Seine-Saint-Denis, now offers 53 references of processed food products from Côte d’Ivoire, according to an announcement from the commercial service of the Ivorian embassy in France published on Sunday, October 11, 2026. The operation expands the Ivorian assortment already present in French mass retail.

The affected shelves include, in particular, hibiscus drinks, cashew nut-based spreads, banana chips, and instant foutou preparations. Plantain or cassava couscous, as well as corn and fonio granules, are also part of this selection.

The brand Lya’Bissap has confirmed the sale of its drinks in this store and announced a price of 5.16 euros per unit. Its promoter, Asnath Youah Adje Logon, is developing a business from Yamoussoukro that employs ten people, including seven women, and sources from Ivorian producers.

The announcement of Rosny 2 does not mark the first entry of Ivorian products into Carrefour stores in France. In 2025, more than ten products were already offered in at least seven stores, according to information released at the time by the stakeholders of the promotion program.

The increase to 53 references in a single point of sale therefore indicates a broadening of the range rather than an initial launch. It also offers the processors concerned a commercial test in a market where shelf access depends on regular volumes, compliant labeling, and logistics capable of ensuring restocking.

This shelving initiative is part of the strategy to promote Made in Côte d’Ivoire products among distributors and the diaspora. The upcoming store openings announced by certain brands will need to be confirmed on a store-by-store basis, as no comprehensive schedule has yet been made public.
