The GUDE-PME and Bridge Microfinance C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire signed an agreement on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, in Abidjan aimed at expanding access to credit for Ivorian small and medium-sized enterprises. The agreement provides for financing of up to 250 million FCFA and more, depending on the strength of the submitted application.<\/p>\n
Loans must be repaid over a period ranging from six to 36 months. Their allocation remains subject to an assessment of the company\u2019s needs and its capacity to carry out the project, which rules out the idea of an automatic amount for each applicant.<\/p>\n
The scheme must cover several uses related to the activity of SMEs, including investments, strengthening working capital, and contract execution. It thus targets companies seeking both to develop their equipment and to finance their operating cycle.<\/p>\n
The One-Stop Shop for Business Development in C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire will provide its expertise in project structuring and support for business leaders. Bridge Microfinance will, for its part, conduct the study and implementation of financing solutions tailored to the selected cases.<\/p>\n
The two partners also plan to provide technical support aimed at strengthening the management capacities of the beneficiaries. Digital tools are expected to complement this support, particularly for very small businesses that face greater difficulties in assembling a bank application.<\/p>\n
This cooperation is part of GUDE-PME\u2019s mission, which centralizes guidance, support, and access to financing for businesses.
