About fifty representatives of the Ivorian administration evaluated the Institutional Strategic Monitoring Mechanism on October 8 and 9, 2026, in Adzop\u00e9, ahead of its planned nationwide deployment.<\/p>\n
The mid-term validation workshop brought together 27 focal points from ministries, four representatives from other involved organizations, three officers from the Directorate of Control, Monitoring, and Evaluation, seven financial control experts, and eight officers from the National Office for Foresight and Strategic Monitoring.<\/p>\n
The system must monitor weak signals, major trends, and changes affecting variables considered sensitive for the country. The information collected is intended to inform public decisions and enable adjustments in the implementation of national plans and programs.<\/p>\n
The participants reviewed the results already achieved, the difficulties encountered, and the gaps compared to the initial objectives. They also made recommendations to improve the functioning of the mechanism before its generalization.<\/p>\n
The General Directorate of Planning, through the Directorate of Control, Monitoring, and Evaluation, supports the National Foresight Office in this assessment. The mechanism is specifically intended to support the monitoring of the National Development Plan and the Sustainable Development Goals.<\/p>\n
