{"id":532268,"date":"2026-09-28T01:51:05","date_gmt":"2026-09-28T01:51:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/benews.ci\/en\/?p=532268"},"modified":"2026-09-28T01:51:05","modified_gmt":"2026-09-28T01:51:05","slug":"ivory-coast-abidjan-and-the-emirates-strengthen-their-dialogue-on-investments","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/benews.ci\/en\/ivory-coast-abidjan-and-the-emirates-strengthen-their-dialogue-on-investments\/","title":{"rendered":"Ivory Coast: Abidjan and the Emirates Strengthen Their Dialogue on Investments"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ivory Coast and the United Arab Emirates seek to deepen their economic cooperation following a meeting focused on investments, held on Friday, September 25, 2026, at the Emirati embassy in Abidjan, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aip.ci\/cote-divoire-aip-les-emirats-arabes-unis-et-la-cote-divoire-renforcent-leur-cooperation-en-matiere-dinvestissement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ivorian Press Agency<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fratmat.info\/article\/2644807\/economie\/cooperation-economique-les-emirats-arabes-unis-et-la-cote-divoire-renforcent-leur-partenariat\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fraternit\u00e9 Matin<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting, organized with the Center for the Promotion of Investments in C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire (CEPICI) and the General Confederation of Enterprises of C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire (CGECI), brought together representatives from economic institutions, the private sector, and Ivorian business circles.<\/p>\n<p>The discussions focused on the business climate, the banking system, tax incentives, legal guarantees, as well as the procedures for establishing and setting up businesses in both countries.<\/p>\n<p>The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, Ali Yousef Al Nuaimi, reaffirmed his country\u2019s commitment to continuing dialogue with Ivorian stakeholders and to encouraging the implementation of joint projects in sectors considered to be of mutual interest.<\/p>\n<p>Ivorian partners indicated their availability to extend these discussions, notably through upcoming reciprocal economic meetings. However, the meeting did not result in the announcement of any signed agreement, quantified investment, or project timeline.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative aims to better inform about the conditions for establishment in each of the two markets and to bring the Ivorian and Emirati private sectors closer together.
