His mission will notably include strengthening the mobilization and securing of resources intended to finance major and public interest projects.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The appointment was made public on September 25 and 26, 2026, by several Ivorian media outlets, based on a statement from CDC-CI. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aip.ci\/cote-divoire-aip-un-nouveau-directeur-general-nomme-a-la-tete-de-la-caisse-des-depots-et-consignations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ivorian Press Agency<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/news.abidjan.net\/articles\/749385\/caisse-des-depots-sidy-cisse-nomme-directeur-general\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Abidjan.net<\/a>, and the economic media outlet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sikafinance.com\/marches\/cote-divoire-sidy-cisse-nomme-directeur-general-de-la-caisse-des-depots-et-consignations_64525\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sika Finance<\/a> agree on the identity of the new leader and his agenda.<\/p>\n<p>A general engineer graduated from the \u00c9cole Polytechnique de Paris and the \u00c9cole des Mines de Paris, Sidy Ciss\u00e9 claims more than twenty years of experience in public finance, infrastructure, and hydrocarbons, in C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire and internationally.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2017, he held the position of Deputy Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister, responsible for financial, economic, and infrastructure matters. According to the statement relayed by AIP, he was involved in monitoring the economic and financial program with the International Monetary Fund, in the mobilization of eurobonds, as well as in the financial structuring of major public projects.<\/p>\n<p>Between 2013 and 2017, Sidy Ciss\u00e9 also served as Deputy Chief of Staff to the Minister of Budget and State Portfolio.
