U.S. President Donald Trump has said he would not rule out the use of military force to gain control of Greenland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Greenland, the world\u2019s largest island, is an autonomous territory within the Kingdom of Denmark and a NATO member alongside the United States. Since taking office, Trump has repeatedly floated the idea of expanding American influence over the island, a stance that has sparked widespread condemnation and diplomatic tensions both within Greenland and on the international stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In an interview aired Sunday on NBC\u2019s Meet The Press<\/em>, Trump stated that military intervention to secure the territory was not off the table. \u201cI\u2019m not ruling it out. I\u2019m not saying I will do it, but I\u2019m not ruling anything out,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cNot over there. We badly need Greenland. Greenland has very few people\u2014we will take care of them, we will cherish them and all that.
