A 16-year-old has been arrested following a deadly shooting in southeastern Sweden, police commander Erik \u00c5kerlund announced during a press conference on Wednesday, April 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The incident took place Tuesday evening at a hair salon named Shalom<\/em> in Uppsala, a city located approximately 70 kilometers north of Stockholm. At least three people, aged between 15 and 20, were killed in the attack, with several others injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Police responded swiftly to emergency calls reporting gunfire in the city center, quickly cordoning off a large perimeter around the scene. An investigation is ongoing, and authorities have not yet released any information about the identities of the victims or the arrested suspect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This tragedy comes less than three months after a separate mass shooting on February 4 at the Risbergska campus in \u00d6rebro, which left around ten people dead. The alleged shooter, 35-year-old Rickard Andersson, took his own life after the attack.
