In Ivory Coast, the Prosecutor\u2019s Office at the Court of First Instance in Bingerville released a statement on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, regarding an ongoing case involving allegations of document forgery and the use of forged documents against Mr. Kom\u00e9 Bakary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the statement, the Prosecutor\u2019s Office was notified on March 19 and 20, 2025, by Messrs. Mambo G\u00e9rard and Mambo Yapi, who filed formal complaints accusing Mr. Kom\u00e9 Bakary of falsification and use of falsified documents. The complaints were forwarded on March 20 to the 40th District Police Station for further investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following the police inquiry, the preliminary investigation report was submitted to the Prosecutor\u2019s Office, which led to the opening of a judicial investigation on April 4, 2025, by the court\u2019s first investigative chamber to further examine the allegations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The statement also notes that a third complaint, filed on March 25 by Mr. Assal\u00e9 Ti\u00e9moko Antoine and also targeting Mr. Kom\u00e9 Bakary for the same alleged offenses, was dismissed. The reason: the claims are already being addressed under the ongoing judicial investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Additionally, the Prosecutor\u2019s Office reported difficulties in notifying Mr. Assal\u00e9 Ti\u00e9moko of the dismissal decision due to his repeated unavailability.
