Moroccan rider Sabbahi El Houcaine was the first to cross the finish line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sabbahi El Houcaine claimed victory in the Parakou-Sav\u00e8 stage, greeted by enthusiastic cheers from cycling fans, as the sport continues to gain popularity in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Houcaine finished ahead of South Africa\u2019s Jense Van Rensburg, who came in second, and the Netherlands&#8217; Wijfje Tom, who secured third place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the overall standings, Jense Van Rensburg\u2014winner of the first stage\u2014retains the yellow jersey. The race will resume on Wednesday with the third stage, covering the Cov\u00e8-Banam\u00e9 to Zagnanado route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This 20th edition features 250 riders representing 14 teams, including 11 from Africa.
