The suspect, Stephen Ifeanyichukwu Ejezie, a former quality assurance specialist, is now at the center of a scandal that has sparked outrage and fear within the Nigerian banking institution.

Stephen Ejezie, who joined Access Bank in February 2023, was caught around 1:30 a.m. last Wednesday hiding in the women’s restroom at the bank’s contact center in Oniru, Lagos State.

A female employee, who was showering at the time, discovered a phone actively recording from an adjacent stall.
