Nigerian artist Davido has revealed that American R&B star Chris Brown had a major impact on his career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The “Blow My Mind” singer said his career took a leap forward after meeting Breezy in 2018. Davido shared the story of their first encounter in a recent episode of the Bagfuel Brigade<\/em> podcast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMeeting Chris Brown changed my life. I met him in 2018. He had a Nigerian friend\u2014one of his best friends. One day, a friend FaceTimed me, and my song was playing in the background. I asked him where he was, and he said, \u2018I\u2019m at Chris Brown\u2019s house.\u2019 I said, \u2018What? You\u2019re listening to my music?\u2019 And he showed me Chris dancing to my song,\u201d the singer recalled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cHe called Chris Brown, and that was our first conversation. A few months later, I went to the U.S. and met up with Chris.
