Ousmane Dembélé may miss next week’s UEFA Champions League semifinal second leg against Arsenal after sustaining a muscle injury during Paris Saint-Germain’s 1-0 win in the first leg on Tuesday. The French forward is reportedly suffering from a hamstring strain.
The news is concerning for PSG just days before the return leg at the Parc des Princes. According to RMC Sport, Dembélé picked up a minor hamstring injury during the first-leg encounter and will sit out Saturday’s Ligue 1 clash against Strasbourg.
The 27-year-old also missed Friday’s training session, further fueling doubts about his availability for the crucial Champions League showdown. French media reports suggest that his participation on Wednesday remains uncertain.
While the medical team is working around the clock to get PSG’s top scorer of the season fit in time, the club is unlikely to take any risks with the player. A final decision is expected by Monday or Tuesday.
