The group stage of the 2025 U20 Africa Cup of Nations continues this Friday with two key matchups across the continent.

Defending champions Senegal will take on the Central African Republic this afternoon in what promises to be a highly anticipated debut for the Young Teranga Lions. Eager to retain their title, Senegal will be aiming for a strong start to their campaign.

Later in the day, DR Congo faces Ghana in a clash of heavyweights. Returning to the continental stage after a lengthy absence, the Congolese side is determined to make an impact and push for the title. But to do so, they must overcome a Ghanaian team with plenty of pedigree in this tournament.

Friday’s fixtures:

  • 3:00 PM: Senegal vs Central African Republic
  • 6:00 PM: DR Congo vs Ghana
