Tunisia: Kaïs Saïed dismisses Prime Minister Kamel Madouri

In an official statement issued on Friday morning, Tunisian President Kaïs Saïed announced the dismissal of Prime Minister Kamel Madouri.

He has entrusted the leadership of the government to Sarah Zaafrani Zenzri, former Minister of Equipment and Housing.

In his meeting with the new head of government, the Head of State stressed the importance of strengthening coordination within the executive and removing all obstacles in order to meet the expectations of the Tunisian people.
