Tina Glamour seems to have scores to settle with numerous figures from the media and artistic circles. Her resentment does not stop there; it now extends to influential personalities in the public sphere.

Valentine Logbo, better known as Tina Glamour and the mother of the late DJ Arafat, seems to be expanding the list of those against whom she holds a grudge. This time, she vents her displeasure towards the former Ivorian President, Laurent Gbagbo. According to her, he neither supported her nor offered his condolences after the tragic death of her famous son, DJ Arafat.

Upon his return from exile, he ignored the passing of my son. I met President Laurent Gbagbo for the very first time at a show in Burkina Faso. He was not even President yet. He didn’t have the notoriety that he gained many years later.

I was therefore shocked that upon his return from exile, he did not have the courtesy to even so much as acknowledge the memory of my late son Arafat at his party’s congress, the PPA-CI. He only mentioned the death of S Kelly that day, which is indeed a good thing for the memory of that artist. He could have, at least symbolically, offered his condolences to Arafat’s family, notably to me, his mother whom he knows very well. I was very shocked by this attitude of the former President Laurent Gbagbo”.

The former President of Ivory Coast, Laurent Gbagbo, during his speech at the founding congress of the PPA-CI at the Ivoire Hotel on October 17, 2021, made a point to acknowledge the contribution of the musician S Kelly to Ivorian culture. As a sign of his appreciation, he even sang a few lines from S Kelly’s popular song, ‘Ma copine est kpata’.
