Ivorian comedienne Eunice Zunon found herself at the center of a controversy on social media sparked by a gastronomic debate she did not participate in.

The incident began with a benign online discussion comparing the taste qualities of two popular dishes: Cameroonian Ndolè and Ivorian Attiéké. A mocking comment from an Ivorian user, suggesting that Ndolè was responsible for the athletic figure typical of Cameroonian women, inflamed emotions.

In the whirlwind of passionate reactions, Eunice Zunon, known for her humor on the web and formerly in a relationship with Cameroonian rapper Tenor, was attacked by a Cameroonian netizen despite her having not commented on or engaged with the initial discussion. “So, Eunice, who has the muscle there, has been eating Ndolè since she was little, right?” he reacted.

This user was probably alluding to the recent altercation between Eunice Zunon and Tenor, during which Eunice firmly grabbed Tenor by the neck. This vivid expression, drawn from Ivorian slang, aptly describes the surprising conflict, which could very well prompt a public response from Eunice herself.

As a reminder, Eunice Zunon recently pronounced herself humorously on her Facebook page regarding the surge of weddings over the past few years among Ivorian public figures. She even expressed her discontent with not being invited to all these wedding celebrations.
