Senegal: Head of Intelligence Services Dismissed

President Bassirou Diomaye Faye has dismissed the head of Senegal’s intelligence services.

The restructuring of key and sensitive positions in Senegal continues to progress. According to information from the media outlet “Afrique sur 7”, following the High Command of the Gendarmerie, it is now the turn of the intelligence services to experience a change in leadership. The President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, decided to replace General Cheikh Sène. General El Hadj Daouda Niang has been appointed to take over the leadership of this critical sector.
