HomeSportFootballReal Madrid: Vinicius Junior faces possible two-year suspension over alleged FIFA rule violation

Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior could face a two-year suspension after being accused by FIFA of owning stakes in multiple football clubs, a violation of conflict-of-interest rules.

The Brazilian winger is reportedly under investigation by FIFA for allegedly breaching regulations that prohibit active players from holding ownership interests in professional football clubs. If found guilty, he could be banned from professional football for up to two years.

The investigation, first reported by Spanish outlet Marca, claims that FIFA has obtained evidence suggesting Vinicius holds shares in several clubs. This would contravene FIFA’s strict rules designed to uphold fairness and integrity in the sport.

According to FIFA regulations, active players are not permitted to own or control more than one professional football club. The case remains under review…
