Cassie Ventura, former partner of music mogul Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, delivered a harrowing and detailed testimony on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, before a federal court in New York, accusing the artist of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse. Combs is currently facing charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and pimping.

Eight months pregnant, Cassie took the stand and accused the producer of orchestrating what she described as “freak-offs”—orgies she was allegedly forced to participate in, often under the influence of hard drugs such as ketamine, GHB, MDMA, cocaine, and hallucinogenic mushrooms. In an attempt to mentally disconnect from the abuse, Cassie said she spiraled into excessive drug use, which led to serious health issues including abdominal pain, mouth sores, chronic urinary tract infections, and intravenous treatments.

The most dramatic moment of the hearing came with the full screening of surveillance footage from a 2016 hotel incident, showing P. Diddy violently assaulting Cassie.

Over the course of 15 minutes, Combs is seen beating her, dragging her across the floor, and slamming her against a wall—a disturbing scene that was even shown in front of the defendant’s children.

Cassie also revealed that Combs threatened to release intimate videos to silence her. She recounted that he would sometimes force her to call him “Pop Pop,” a nickname for his grandfather, during the alleged assaults.

Despite Sean Combs’ denials, the graphic evidence and Cassie’s powerful testimony may weigh heavily in the outcome of the trial.
