In a statement this Monday, the Brazilian Football Confederation announced the appointment of Carlo Ancelotti as the coach of the national football team.
This time, it’s official. Carlo Ancelotti is the new national coach of Brazil. The Italian coach was appointed this Monday by the Brazilian Football Confederation in a statement on its official website.
“The greatest national team in the history of football will now be led by the most decorated coach in the world. Carlo Ancelotti, synonymous with historic achievements, was announced on Monday (12) by the president of the CBF, Ednaldo Rodrigues, as the new coach of the Brazilian national team. He will lead Brazil until the 2026 World Cup and will coach the Amarelinha in its next two qualifying matches against Ecuador and Paraguay next month,” stated the CBF.
“The arrival of Carlo Ancelotti at the helm of Brazil is more than a strategic decision. It is a declaration to the world that we are determined to return to the top of the podium. Carlo Ancelotti is the greatest coach in history, and he is now leading the greatest team on the planet. Together, we will write new glorious chapters for Brazilian football,” declared Ednaldo Rodrigues, president of the CBF, in the federation’s statement.
