In a post on its social media, Real Madrid extended its congratulations to FC Barcelona, which won this season’s La Liga.
Barça secured its 28th Spanish championship title on Thursday. After losing out to their Madrid rivals last season, the Catalans reclaimed the crown this year, capping off a successful campaign, at least on the domestic front. The team, coached by Hansi Flick, won all their matches against Real Madrid.
A well-deserved title… also acknowledged by Real Madrid. On social media, the Merengue club congratulated their Blaugrana counterparts on their achievement. “Congratulations to FC Barcelona for the 2024-2025 Liga,” posted the Madrid management on their X account. A classy message appreciated by fans of both Spanish giants.
