The new center dedicated to the accelerated registration of new vehicles is set to begin operations on Monday, October 5, 2026, in Treichville, opposite the Labor Exchange, according to the Directorate General of Land Transport and Traffic (DGTTC).
The site must bring together on a single platform the services of the transport administration, Customs, and private operators involved in the procedure. The objective is to reduce delays and limit the prolonged use of temporary license plates.
The dealer at the heart of the new procedure
The system provides that authorized dealers take direct responsibility for the registration procedure of new vehicles sold to their customers. The user should thus be able to receive a vehicle already properly registered.
The Treichville center was presented in August by the Director General of the DGTTC, Oumar Sacko, as one of the tools for modernizing the automotive system. It is also intended to help alleviate congestion at the Single Automotive Window.
This opening comes as the administration simultaneously accelerates the identification and registration of vehicles and two-wheelers, as part of road safety policies and the traceability of the vehicle fleet.
