The National Union of State Suppliers and Taxpayers of Côte d’Ivoire states that 39.048 billion CFA francs in claims have been submitted for payment and calls for an acceleration in the processing of pending files.
The organization expressed its concerns on September 22, 2026, during a meeting at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Côte d’Ivoire, in Plateau. In a document signed by its national president, Faustin Gré, SYNAFECI mentioned several receivables related to public institutions.
The union specifically cites cases concerning the Public Treasury, faith-based educational institutions, SONAPIE, the General Inspectorate of Finance, and the National Society for Computer Development.
SYNAFECI states that some invoices remain pending payment or clarification and calls for greater transparency regarding the announced payments. It also mentions difficulties encountered by companies in their dealings with the tax authorities.
The organization specifically calls for the establishment of a permanent framework for dialogue with the General Directorate of Taxes and a tax mediation mechanism to facilitate the resolution of disputes.
