Ivory Coast: Comedian Observateur Mocks Marie Paule Adjé

HomePeopleCelebrityIvory Coast: Comedian Observateur Mocks Marie Paule Adjé

Following the episode with the couple Didi B-Saraï d’Hologne, and Camille Makosso with his daughter Kim Makosso, the Ivorian comedian Observateur Ebène has now taken a jab at the actress and talk show commentator Marie Paule Adjé.

Observateur Ebène, the well-known Ivorian humorist, has recently drawn attention for his mockery of Ivorian public figures. His initial target was Didi B, a member of the popular rap group Kiff No Beat, and his wife Saraï d’Hologne. The comedian sparked controversy in 2023 by openly questioning why the couple had not had children after a year of marriage. This remark caused an uproar on social media, with many users defending the couple. Amid the public indignation, Didi B considered legal action but later decided against pursuing it.

Subsequently, Observateur Ebène turned his attention to another public figure, the influencer Camille Makosso, and his daughter Kim Makosso. This time, he was responding to allegations of harassment directed at him, thus continuing his habit of targeting well-known personalities in the Ivorian media landscape.

Beyond these controversies, Observateur Ebène is making headlines again. He has recently attacked the talk show commentator, actress, and businesswoman Marie Paule Adjé in a video on Tik-Tok, the Chinese social network. “The beauty of Marie Paule Adjé is not natural. It’s a modernized, artificial beauty, with filters. Even her complexion, I wonder if it’s her real color. She knew that if she had remained natural, she wouldn’t be what she is. She’s not authentic, I state she’s fake,” he points out.

It is worth noting that before this controversy, he had implied that he had had a romance with a certain girl named Marie Paule Adjé. He then clarified that it was not the Ivorian actress but instead a different Marie he had confused with her.
