A finance officer assigned to the General Inspectorate of the Ivorian Ministry of Infrastructure and Road Maintenance is ordered to resume her position no later than Monday, September 28, 2026, following an absence dating back to May 2, 2024. Failing this, she risks disciplinary proceedings before the Disciplinary Council.

The formal notice targets Koffi Carmen Josiane, registration number 827 938 K. According to a statement from the Human Resources Department cited by KOACI, the employee has not returned to her position for more than two years and four months.

The HR department grants him a final deadline until Monday, September 28, described as a “strict deadline.” After this date, his file must be forwarded to the Disciplinary Council and his administrative situation handled in accordance with the applicable regulations.

More than two years of absence before the formal notice

The case is distinguished by the length of the absence mentioned in the statement. Between May 2, 2024, and the deadline set for September 28, 2026, nearly twenty-nine months have elapsed.

The ministry has not publicly stated the reasons for this absence nor specified whether any prior exchanges had taken place with the individual concerned. The announced procedure therefore currently concerns her obligation to resume her position or to respond before the disciplinary authorities.
