The Army Multi-Sports Club (SOA) made a successful start to the 2026-2027 Ivorian Ligue 1 season by defeating Stella d’Adjamé 2-1 on Sunday, September 27.
This victory allows the Military team to immediately earn three points in a first matchday where several games were decided by narrow margins. The Stella, for its part, leaves this opening fixture without any points.
The result comes on a day marked by the successes of Bouaké FC against AFAD (2-1), Zoman FC on the field of FC San Pedro (1-0), SOL FC in Adiaké (1-0), and Agboville in Korhogo (1-0).
The day before, Yamoussoukro FC created the first surprise of the season by defeating the reigning champions, ASEC Mimosas, with a score of 1-0.
