The Ivorian Ligue 1 concluded its first matchday of the 2026-2027 season with eight games, six victories, and two draws, played on September 26 and 27.
The first strong signal came from Yamoussoukro FC. In their debut in the top division, the promoted team defeated reigning champions ASEC Mimosas 1-0. Stade d’Abidjan and Mouna FC drew 0-0 in the other match on Saturday.
On Sunday, SOA dominated Stella d’Adjamé 2-1, and Bouaké FC prevailed over AFAD Djékanou by the same score. Zoman FC won 1-0 at the Laurent-Pokou stadium against FC San Pedro thanks to a goal by Sodji Romuald in the 73rd minute.
SOL FC won 1-0 at Olympique FC d’Adiaké, and ES Agboville achieved the same result on the field of CO Korhogo. US Tchologo and ISCA, meanwhile, ended with a goalless draw.
