Congolese singer Innoss’B has announced his ambassadorship for the World Food Program (WFP) through a post on his Facebook page.

Innocent Didace Balume, better known by his stage name Innoss’B, has teamed up with the World Food Programme (WFP), a United Nations agency fighting world hunger. The partnership was officially signed on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. In his new role, Innoss’B will work to promote the initiatives and goals pursued by the WFP across the African continent.

Furthermore, he will use his fame to raise awareness about the importance of ensuring access to adequate food for everyone. The artist shared the news of this collaboration on his Facebook page, accompanied by pictures from the signing event. “Happy to announce that as of Tuesday, March 26, 2024, I become an ambassador for the World Food Programme to advocate for good nutrition and education,” Innoss’B posted.

Rising Congolese artist Innoss’B has captured the heart of the African music scene with his hit “Ozo Beta Mabe,” released in 2018. The track earned him a coveted spot among fresh African talent, garnering a million views on YouTube within just five months. He continues his momentum with singles like “Yo Pe,” “Meme,” “Archour,” “Olandi,” “Amina,” and “Best,” earning a reputation that now reaches well beyond his homeland’s boundaries.

Celebrated by the BBC as one of the rising African stars set to shine on the international stage in 2020, Innoss’B also made history as the first Congolese artist to cross the 100 million views mark on YouTube with his “Yo Pe” remix featuring renowned Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz. Innoss’B continues to shine, proudly representing the Afro-Congo beat that defines him.
