Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye left Dakar on Sunday for Abidjan, where he will take part in the Africa CEO Forum on May 11 and 12, at the invitation of Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara.
Upon his arrival in the Ivorian economic capital, the Senegalese head of state was welcomed by Ivorian officials and members of the Senegalese community living in Côte d’Ivoire. This marks his second official visit to Ivory Coast since his election in March 2024.
Held annually, the Africa CEO Forum brings together political leaders, CEOs, investors, and journalists from across the continent. The 2025 edition focuses on the role of public-private partnerships in Africa’s economic transformation, under the theme: “Can a new public-private deal reshape the future for the continent?”
