Barcelona midfielder Dani Olmo has warned Inter Milan that his team isn’t worried about playing at San Siro, as the two sides face off this Tuesday night in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final.
Olmo pointed out that Barça have already won at Santiago Bernabéu, the Metropolitano, and Signal Iduna Park this season, and that those away victories only fuel their motivation heading into tonight’s clash in Milan.
“It’s been six years since Barça reached the semi-finals, and ten years since we made it to the final. We’re excited and ready,” Olmo said at Monday’s press conference.
“Of course, home advantage matters, but we’ve played — and won — at places like the Metropolitano, the Bernabéu, and Signal Iduna Park. So playing away is not a concern for us, it’s a source of motivation,” he added.
The first leg between the two teams ended in a 3-3 draw last week at Camp Nou.
