Santos FC: Neymar injured again

HomePeopleCelebritySantos FC: Neymar injured again

Starting on Wednesday for Santos in their 2–0 win over Atletico Mineiro, Neymar lasted just half an hour. The Brazilian forward was forced off in the 32nd minute with a left thigh injury.

Back on the pitch after several weeks in the treatment room, Neymar is already heading back to the sidelines. The Brazilian star picked up another injury during Santos FC’s victory over Atletico Mineiro in the league. Named in the starting XI, he was substituted after just 30 minutes due to discomfort in his left thigh.

It was only his second appearance for Santos since returning to action, and this latest setback adds to an already lengthy list of physical issues for the 33-year-old, who joined the Brazilian club this summer on a deal running until next June.
