Benin: Recruitment of 300 Staff for the Customs and Public Treasury

The government will soon launch the recruitment of 300 individuals for the Customs and Public Treasury. The announcement was made during the Council of Ministers meeting on Thursday, April 11, 2024.

During the council of ministers held on Thursday, April 11, 2024, the Beninese government announced the recruitment of 300 civil servants for the Customs and Public Treasury. According to the Council of Ministers, the authorized recruitments concern, on the one hand, 150 customs officials including 120 trainee customs supervisors, 10 trainee customs controllers, and 20 staff members from technical and administrative bodies.

On the other hand, recruitments are slated for 150 agents at the Directorate General for the Treasury and Public Accounting, including 50 treasury controllers, 90 treasury assistants, 6 programming analysts specializing in software engineering, and 4 programming analysts specializing in network and maintenance.

The reinforcement of staff will allow these various administrations to better fulfill their missions in the direction of improving their performance.
