Benin: Ambulance Catches Fire in a Clinic in Cotonou

An ambulance vehicle fell victim to flames in Cotonou on this Tuesday, March 26, 2024.

The fire broke out in the afternoon, close to the Martyrs’ Square in the heart of the city’s 12th district. According to witness statements reported by Radio Bip FM, the ambulance suddenly caught fire after transporting a patient to this clinic.

Rescue teams, promptly alerted, quickly mobilized to the scene of the incident to control the blaze.
