Ivory Coast’s distinguished host and presenter, Konnie Touré, continues her streak of success by adding a new award to her collection. Recently, she was honored with the prestigious Excellence Award at the Ivoire Muslim Awards. With excitement, Konnie shared this happy news with her followers through two posts on her Facebook page over the weekend.
“What an honor to receive the Excellence Prize from the Ivoire Muslim Awards (IMA) in the Media category just now. Initiated by Baraka Comm, the IMA promotes excellence within the Muslim community by valuing individuals (both physical and moral) who achieve exploits in their field of activity in order to highlight the values of Islam and build benchmarks. I therefore accept this distinction with pride and humility and thank Mrs. Koné Bintou Pekele as well as the entire organizing committee for this honor,” wrote Konnie Touré in a first post.
She continued in another post, in which she listed the components of the Award. “My iKônes, I share with you the summary of the 2nd edition of the Ivoire Muslim Awards Excellence Prize of which I was the laureate in the Media category. As a reward, I received: 1 Trophy, 1 envelope, and most importantly, 1 fully paid pilgrimage to Mecca, offered by Mr. Siaka Coulibaly, economic operator, CEO of Coul Gold-CI. He also promised Hajj next year to the other ten laureates Alhamdulilah. May Allah bless him! Thank you so much to Mrs. Kone Bintou Pékélé for this commendable initiative,” concluded Konnie Touré.
