The group stage of the 2025 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations wraps up this Friday in Egypt, with the final matches of Group A set to determine the last two teams to advance to the quarterfinals.

Group leaders South Africa will take on Zambia in a decisive clash. The Young Bafana Bafana only need a draw to secure qualification, while the Chipolopolos must win to keep their tournament hopes alive.

Meanwhile, host nation Egypt will face Tanzania. The Pharaohs need a solid win—preferably by a margin of 3-0 or more—to boost their chances of advancing. Already eliminated, Tanzania will be looking to exit the competition with pride.
