With a beautiful goal by Mamour Diagne in extra time, Senegal defeated Italy (4-3) in the quarterfinals of the Beach Soccer World Cup. The Lions of the Beach will face Belarus in the semifinals.

Senegal has qualified for the semifinals of the 2025 Beach Soccer World Cup after their victory against Italy. In a closely contested match, the Lions of the Beach emerged victorious with a score of 4-3.

Mamour Diagne scored the opening goal for Senegal early in the game. The Lions maintained this slight lead until the end of the first period. After the break, Italy equalized and then took the lead.

The game then intensified, with Senegal equalizing through a penalty converted by Sanou Laye, only to fall behind again. In the final period, the Senegalese scored two goals, by Faye and Mamour Diagne, who secured the winning goal in extra time.

In the semifinals, Senegal will face Belarus, who defeated the Islamic Republic of Iran.
